Returns Policy

FREE EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

For your convenience, item(s) purchased online may be exchanged or refunded provided all online return policy conditions are met. 
A refund will be provided to you by crediting your original method of payment. Please note that cash refunds will not be provided under any circumstances and courier charges cannot be refunded.
Item(s) purchased at 40 and Fabulous South Africa can only be via courier to 40 and Fabulous.

ONLINE RETURNS POLICY

There may be times when you will need to return an item purchased from us. Our Returns Policy is designed to assist you with your return. The benefits given by our Returns Policy are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), as well as any other applicable acts.
If you wish to return any item(s) you have purchased, you can return the item(s) via courier to our online store within 7 days from the date of purchase (please complete the below form in detail). 
Kindly coordinate your return with our customer service team in advance to sure that your return is collected by our courier partner. All returned parcels remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by 40 and Fabulous.

RETURN POLICY CONDITIONS

At 40 and Fabulous we want to ensure you love the items you purchase. If you have changed your mind on a purchase we will exchange your item or refund your original method of payment provided that:
  • You return the item within 7 days (inclusive) from the date of purchase.
  • You produce your original 40 and Fabulous (receipt) and order number when you arrange the item
  • The item is in original saleable condition
  • With all original tags and any sewn labels still attached
  • In an unworn, unopened, and unused state
  • In original packaging
  • The below form has been completed fin detail
If you are not able to comply with these requirements, 40 and Fabulous reserves the right to refuse an exchange or refund on change of mind items. 40 and Fabulous will not accept a bank statement as proof of purchase.
We regret that we are unable to accept the exchange or return of the following items for change of mind for hygiene reasons:
  • Tights
  • Hair accessories
  • Earrings
  • Bodysuits
  • Swimming Costumes
  • Undergarments and related accessories
If we accidentally deliver the wrong item to you, or if the item is damaged, please contact us immediately and we will arrange to collect the order from you at no charge. We will arrange to deliver the correct item to you or refund you, depending on your preference

ONLINE EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

To request an online exchange or return, please complete the form below in detail.

REQUEST ONLINE RETURN

  1. Enter your contact details (name and email address)
  2. Enter your order number
  3. Indicate whether it is a refund.
  4. Provide a reason for the refund
  5. Indicate what item it is you would like refunded
  6. If exchange, please indicate what item you would like it exchanged for, as well as the size
  7. Click submit
  8. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address on your order confirming that your return request has been logged. 
  9. If your return request is approved, our customer service team will be in contact to arrange for a collection.
  10. If your return is not approved, our customer service team will be in contact and provide more information.
Please note: a refund will be provided to you crediting your original method of payment, providing all the Returns Policy Conditions are met and we have received the original item that is being returned and that the item is in good, saleable condition. Cash refunds will not be provided under any circumstances.

Refunds will exclude all delivery fees that are paid as part of the order.
